Traduction in interlingua per Bruno Zani de “San Martino” per Giosué Carducci (vincitor del premio Nobel in 1907)

Le die de San Martino occurre cata novembre 11. Illo es traditionalmente considerate le fin del anno laborative e le initio del pausa invernal in le campanias. Io cercava de mantener assi tante unitate lexic que me era possible, a causa de que tres nove parolas international deveniva necessary:

Caciator: ia = chassator, (ang. catcher, esp = cazador, it. cacciatore, port. caçador e le vet.fra. caceur.). Del latin classic captiare, de que captiose, caption, etc, proposite per S. Mulaik)

Pluviginar: ia = pluver finemente (it. piovigginare, fr. pleuviner, esp.= lloviznar. proposite per me)

Rosse : ia = rubie (ang. russet, esp. rojo, fra. rouge, it. rosso, por. roixo, ger. rote, proposite per multe interlinguistas e le CEID) Ross + aster. Suffixo -astro extense a adjectivos. (proposite per le CEID, vide "reddish".)

Hirsute = le arbores son le pilos e capillos del terra, secundo le poeta.

Version in interlingua:

Le bruma sur le hirsute colles,
pluviginante ascende
e subto le mistral
ulula e blanchi le mar,

ma per le vias del burgo,
ab le ebullir del cupas,
va le aspere odor del vinos
le animas a allegrar.

Gira sur le blocos accense
le spido crepitante,
sta le caciator sibilante
in le ostio reguardante

intra le rossastre nubes
turbas de aves nigre,
como exiliate pensatas,
in le vespera migrar.

Version in italiano:

La nebbia a gl'irti colli
Piovigginando sale,
E sotto il maestrale
Urla e biancheggia il mar;

Ma per le vie del borgo
Dal ribollir de' tini
Va l'aspro odor de i vini
L'anime a rallegrar.

Gira su' ceppi accesi
Lo spiedo scoppiettando:
Sta il cacciator fischiando
Su l'uscio a rimirar

Tra le rossastre nubi
Stormi d'uccelli neri,
Com'esuli pensieri,
Nel vespero migrar.

Version in anglese:

Up the bristling hills, the fog
Drizzling climbs
While under the Mistral
Howls the whitened sea;

But through the ways of the borough.
From the fermenting vats,
Goes the acrid smell of wines
To restore the souls.

Turns on the burning logs
The crackling spit.
Whistling the hunter stands
By the door looking

Through the reddish clouds
As flocks of black birds,
Like exiled thoughts,
Migrate in the twilight.
