Father Alberto Cutié has left the Catholic Church and has joined the Episcopal Church after having been caught by paparazzi on a beach with his girlfriend.

The priest, popular with U.S. Hispanic Catholics in the United States, who love him for his charisma and the advice he has given on radio and television, was removed from his position at a church in Miami Beach after the magazine “TV Notas” published photos in which he hugged and kissed a woman.

Cutié did not discuss his relationship with the woman in the photographs or about plans to marry her. Unlike the Catholic Church, Episcopal priests can marry.
