Le equivalente de "ben que" in italiano occurre solmente con le (con/sub)junctivo. In espaniol e anglese, on usa le indicativo. Assi, in interlingua on pote dicer in interlingua "Ben que Carlo sia/es rico, ille non es felice."

Le articulos anque se usa secundo patronos differente in le linguas fonte de interlingua.

In le version italian de iste texto, on dice "Il Petrarca", "Il Bocaccio", ma simplemente "Dante".

(Nota que in le francese on anque usa le preposition "à".) In anglese nos dice "In Florence there are a lot of art treasures." and "Charles lives in Rome."

Bocaccio was the best prose author and one of the best story tellers in the world.

Dante spent his youth in Florence and his later years in various cities in Italy. He died in Ravenna in 1321 (thirteen twenty-one).

Petrarch spent his first years in Tuscany and his later years in France, close to Avignon. He traveled through many cities in France and Italy.

Differences Between Interlingua and its Source Languages and their Effects on the Use of Interlingua:

The Italian version of this text shows some differences and conflicts between Interlingua and its source langauges.

Let's start with these examples: (1) Sebbene Carlo sia ricco, non è felice. (2) Aunque Carlos es rico, non es feliz. (3) Though Charles is rich, he isn't happy.

The equivalent of "(al)though" in Italian occurs only with the subjunctive. In Spanish and English, we use the indicative. It is thus possible to say in Interlingua "Ben que Carlo sia/es rico, ille non es felice."

The articles are also used according to different patterns in the source languages of Interlingua.

In the Italian version of this text, you have "Il Petrarca," "Il Bocaccio," but simply "Dante".

The Italians also say "la Francia" and "l'Italia." In English we say simply "France" and "Italy."

It is thus equally correct to say in Interlingua either "le Francia" or simply "Francia" or "le Italia" or "Italia."

Prepositions are also used in different ways. Let's take a look at these examples in Italian: (1) "A Firenze ci sono molti tesori d'arte." (2) "Carlo vive a/in Roma." (Note that the French also use the preposition "à".) In English we say, "In Florence there are a lot of art treasures." and "Charles lives in Rome."

With these and other differences in usage in the source languages of Interlingua, at times it is impossible to determine the "correct" forms in Interlingua because Interlingua does not have a body of native users who can decide these questions definitively. Thus it is equally possible to say in Interlingua (1) "A/in Florentia il ha multe tresores de arte" e (2) "Carolo vive in/a Roma".
