Un libro multo importante

(Languages of this post: Interlingua, English)

Io ha legite que Stephen Kinzer ha publicate "Overthrow: America's Century of Regime Change from Hawaii to Iraq".

Uh... yes!

A very important book

I have read that Stephen Kinzer has published "Overthrow: America's Century of Regime Change from Hawaii to Iraq." I hope that this book will soon be translated into the languages of Europe.

In this book Kinzer documents how the United States has overthrown many legitimate governments starting with the support of our President Benjamin Harrison in 1893 for an American revolt against the government of Hawaii (now an American state) to increase the wealth of American companies with economic interests that group of islands while we justified our actions by the same means used by other colonialist powers.

("We brought civilization to the primitive societies of Africa and the Orient along with the superior moral values of the Christian religion," said the English and the French.)

We Americans also brought democracy to the nations that we conquered directly or indirectly--and also the superior moral values of Protestantism. Uh... yes!
