(Languages of this post: Interlingua, English)

Como diceva multe personas qui protestava nostre guerra in Vietnam, "Make love, not war!" o "Fuck, don't fight!"

Promoting Peace through the Use of Pornography

I have recently read that Rutuv, an Israeli pornographic site, has attracted many visitors from Syria, Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Iraq.

Soon the site is going to send out pornographic videos between Arabs and Israelis.

In an essay that he published in 2004, "The East is Blue," Salman Rushdie said tht though pornography is prohibited in Muslim countries, it is widely available.

"Pornography exists everywhere, of course," he said. "But in the case of societies that forbid the socialization of young people of both sexes so that they can satisfy their biological needs, pornography is a useful substitute that encourages liberty and the joys of civilization."

As many people said who protested our Vietnam war, "Make love, not war!" or "Fuck, don't fight!"
